Baintertown ShelterLearn more

Open-air shelter located in the Baintertown Park section. Picnic tables and charcoal grills are provided with shelter. Site contains open area for recreation, accessible parking, accessible latrine, drinking fountain, picnic sites, fishing and small boat access. Close to the Baintertown Wetland Area which includes a pond and managed wetland. Hiking trails lead along historic canal, through woods and meadows to Baintertown Hydro Plant and Baintertown Dam.

Covered shelter located in the heart of the Mill Valley across from Bonneyville Mill. Close to hiking trails, the canal, waterfall, and river. Open areas for recreation.

Kum Mol Rie ShelterLearn more

Kum Mol Rie Shelter is located near the levee trail, which winds along river to the mill. The site features an open area for field sports and close access to horseshoe pits.

Briar Patch ShelterLearn more

With scenic views of the rolling countryside and room for a large gathering, Briar Patch is one of our most popular shelters. This enclosed shelter features picnic tables, a covered patio, electric outlets, and is handicap-accessible. Additional picnic tables and grills are located on the covered patio.

In winter, a wood-burning stove provides warmth for visitors. The site also features close access to multiple hiking trails and is located next to the sledding hills. Briar Patch is open to the public as a warming house December-February, when sledding hills are open.
