Feature Grain Day
Hard white wheat berries are true to their name. The berries themselves are very hard and produce a more granular flour when ground at Bonneyville Mill. The high protein content of the flour makes it an excellent choice for recipes that use yeast as a leavening agent. Demonstrations of hard white wheat grinding will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Samples of baked good from this flour will be available until gone.
