Explorers will take advantage of the bare trees and focus on the birds present this time of year. Participants will enjoy a nice one hour hike looking and listening for the variety of birds that are still in our region in the winter. Binoculars and field guides will aid in the search.

Join Registered Yoga Teacher Amanda for an hour of empowering yoga in the parks. Enjoy guided practice welcoming of all skill levels in a relaxing park environment. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, bring water, and their own mats – a limited number of mats will be available for use.

In December, Yoga in the Parks will celebrate the Winter Solstice with a cozy practice at the Baldwin One Room Schoolhouse in Bonneyville Mill County Park.

Join us as we open our new exhibit, Crossroads of Elkhart County: Forging A Path. Be the first to see the new exhibit and learn about how nature, immigration, trade and warfare all had a major effect on the people that lived in this region. The first of three redesigned first floor exhibits spans the arrival of Paleo people 12,000 years ago to the arrival of the French. Enjoy light refreshments and meet the staff who developed the exhibit.
