Wed. Bird Walk: Waterfowl Watch
This month, we’re dabbling in ducks as waterfowl season kicks into high gear. On a good day, more than 30 of these water-loving birds can be seen – from elegant pintails and loons to iridescent Buffleheads and Teals. Bundle up and join fellow bird lovers for a winter outing seeking out our county’s dazzling ducks at local waterfowl hotspot, Fidler Pond in Goshen (Directions Here). The group will head out at 8 a.m. — please plan travel time accordingly.
- What to Expect: Come prepared for extended time outdoors.
- Suggested Gear: Hiking boots and weather-ready layers (binoculars will be available tor use).
