Elkhart County Parks has plenty of outdoor adventures, parks, and hands-on fun for everyone in the family. Plan a family daytrip at the park, attend one–or maybe five–of the many programs we cater for kids, and make sure to mark your calendar for our seasonal special events!

Playgrounds, stroller-friendly trails, and short loops at our parks help everyone in the family enjoy spending time outdoors, so get out and start exploring – and don’t forget your camera!

Parks with Playgrounds

Cobus Creek County Park offers a large playground conveniently located next to the parking lot and restrooms.

Ox Bow County Park offers multiple places to play, including sites by Fisherman’s Camp,  Honey Locust, Cottonwood, and Ox Bow Haus.

Stroller-Friendly Trails

Ox Bow County Park, Cobus Creek County Park, and the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail all feature paved or hard-packed trails, perfect for a stroller hike with the kids.

Places to Explore

The Sensory Garden at Cobus Creek County Park is a great way to have children use all of their sense to explore the natural world.
