Bonneyville Mill

     The Elkhart County Department of Parks and Recreation serves the north central Indiana county
that is home to cities including Elkhart, Goshen, Bristol
and Middlebury.

     The Department consists of seven parks, one historical museum, two nature preserves, two horticulture gardens, approximately 30 miles of trails, five playgrounds, 18 rentable shelters, two registered historic sites including a working1832 operating grist mill, and more than 1800 acres of park land.

     It is the mission of the Park Department to enhance local quality of life; preserve the county's cultural, historical and natural resources; and provide education and recreational opportunities.
