Wednesday Bird Walk
While summer songbirds have flown the coop, late autumn ushers in its own special blend of species with the arrival of wintering birds. Now is the time to find a wild variety of birds only here during these colder months – from perky Winter Wrens busily bouncing their way down fallen logs, to bright Red-breasted Nuthatches inching up towering pines. Step out for a crisp morning hike and lend your eyes to the skies as we seek out these unique birds in a landscape colored by fall.
The group will head out at 8 a.m. — please plan travel time accordingly.
