Timberdoodle Trek
Register nowIt may have the build of a chubby sandpiper, but during courtship, a male American Woodcock (aka “Timberdoodle”) becomes a master acrobat of the sky. In this special evening bird walk, join us as we embark on a twilight trek at Boot Lake Nature Preserve to catch a glimpse of Timberdoodles spiraling in the sky. Participants are encouraged to dress for an evening hike. The group will head out at 7 p.m., so please plan travel time accordingly.
NOTE: Participants are required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing (6 ft apart) during the event.
