Nature Notebooks – Session Two (Rescheduled)Register now
Join guest speaker, Kelcey Ervick for this month’s Nature Notebooks session. Kelcey is a writer and artist who tells stories of strong women who have been treated badly. She is the author and illustrator of a graphic memoir, The Keeper: Soccer, Me and the Law that Changed Women’s Lives along with other titles. She is an award-winning professor of English at IUSB and resides along the banks of the St. Joseph River where she draws inspiration from the nature around her. Program participants will spend time finding ways to express natural wonders on paper. Set out on the trails of Bonneyville Mill for inspiration, then come back inside, and sit near the wood-burning stove to fill your notebooks with creative promptings. Tea provided, bring your own lunch, kitchenette available for use.
